About Us

I am a Comedian in Practice, Conservative Christian, Homeschooling mom, sci-fi geek, ufo chasing nut job, crocheter, knitter, chef, baker, photographer, pet groomer, taxi driver, book reader, and I could go on but that wore me out just thinking of it all.

I am also an advocate for the right to bear arms, bare arms (love tank tops), hunting, fishing, rights for battered and abused husbands, and I am sure a few more things I can't think of right now. 


I love movies, tv (yes I am 1/2 couch potato and proud of it :) ), working out (my other 1/2), race cars, reading, cooking both on the grill and whole foods and juicing, hanging out with friends and family, gardening, and mostly having a good time and laughing a lot. 

I like a lot of different things, depends on my mood as to which of these things I am enjoying for the day. Yes, I am moody, and I can admit it! LOL! I also write book reviews and do product giveaways on occasion. 


Our main story:

We are from outside Cincinnati Ohio. Born and raised there. 

We lived in North Carolina for almost 6 years.

We recently moved back to Ohio. (Nov. 2012)

We started homeschooling in January 2008. It has been a roller coaster ride since then. 

We love to be creative and do photography. 

Some times I love to cook, and sometimes not.  I hate doing dishes so its a good thing I have girls who each take a week being "dish girl" or "Cinderella" as they like to call each other some times.  This teaches them responsibility and they will know how to take care of a kitchen when they have their own. Actually, they should know how to clean a whole house spotless since each week they have a cleaning "zone".
